Guild Incorporated (of West St. Paul) is an organization that helps people with mental illness lead quality lives. Programs build on people's strengths, assisting with finding housing, employment and social connections.

Among their many great programs is an amateur adult co-ed basketball team! Yes! It builds on people's strengths (enthusiasm, spirit), as well as building strength in areas that could always use some extra toning (deltoids). Being on a team is sure great for social connections, too (and connecting with that basket - swish). Hey, this sounds like a pretty awesome program for adults with mental illness.

BUT WAIT - they need a team manager. Someone who is responsible and caring. Encouraging and enthusiastic. Doesn't mind driving a big 'ol van to practices. Loves basketball and people. Is this you?
It's a commitment of one evening a week for about three months, which isn't much. You'll probably want to do more! Check it out --> Be a basketball team manager

Guild Incorprated is looking for enthusiastic volunteers!
"Happy" enthusiastic, though - not "Bob Knight" enthusiastic...
